Fall/Winter 2019 Must Have Shades from Luxottica!

All set for Fall and Winter? Absolutely! We went to check out Luxottica shades preview last month and were plenty of pieces including runway piece that we get to see and that have caught our eyes. Most of the shades are definitely in trend and perfect for the weather! Here are some of our favourites :

1. Dolce & Gabanna

The new Dolce & Gabbana "Jungle" One of a Kind sunglasses, which come in an exquisite shade of malachite green, feature a charming retro look. The cat-eye acetate frame is embellished with hand-painted roses and bright drops of transparent and pink crystals. The model is enhanced by the DG Baroque monogram, customized with a pattern of leaves and small flowers made of finely antiqued gold metal.

Introducing the new D&G foldable sunglasses, which starred in the FW 2019-2020 fashion shows, feature a frame made with metal rims, supported by an original gold-coloured metal bridge- hinge decorated with a motif that resembles grosgrain fabric. The slim metal temples are foldable thanks to a hinge positioned immediately before the acetate tips, making the model compact and easy to use. This exquisite model, which is available in classic havana and black, surprisingly combines retro inspiration and the brand’s contemporary spirit.

2. Emporio Armani

This model, which appeared in the Emporio Armani fashion show, has an ultra-modern design and an unmistakable style that reflects the energy and vitality of the fashion collection. The mask front consists of a single lens. The profile of the glasses is printed in full colour on the back. The start of the metal and nylon temples features a printed logo. Available in red with red details printed inside and mirrored rose gold with rose gold details printed inside.

This futuristic model, which appeared in the Emporio Armani autumn/winter 2019-20 fashion show, represents the collection’s dynamic and eclectic style and the brand’s continuous evolution. The perfectly smooth mask design reflects the modern, technological spirit of the fashion show, delivering a cutting-edge look.The front consists of a single lens with a rectangular shape and sharp corners. The profile of the glasses is printed in full colour on the back. The temples have a distinctive “graduated” shape that accentuates the model’s bold character. The Emporio Armani logo with the brand’s iconic eagle motif is stamped at the top of the temple. Available in matt silver with mirrored tone-on-tone lenses, matt blue with tone-on-tone lenses and rose gold with tone-on-tone lenses.

3. Giorgio Armani

Sophisticated and elegant glasses that imbue eyewear with the same artisan attention to detail that defines the Giorgio Armani Privé collections. The round shape, which enhances the frame’s femininity, is embellished with crystals on both the upper part of the acetate frame and on the temple, where they form the GA logo. The metal temples are split in the middle, re- joining at the temple tip to create an interplay of voids that emphasises the striking design of this exquisite, jewel-like model. Available in glossy black with smoke mirrored lenses, and striped blue with blue gradient lenses.

This vintage-inspired model, which starred in the autumn/winter 2019-20 fashion show, revisits an iconic shape – and familiar details – of Giorgio Armani eyewear. The thick acetate frame is characterised by a key bridge and by wide temples that taper at the end. The unmistakable rivets that distinguish the head of the temple, which displays the full engraved Giorgio Armani logo, add a distinctive touch. Available in matte striped brown with smoke lenses, and matte striped green with green lenses.

4. Oakley

Oakley pushes the boundaries of frame and lens protection with the launch of Clifden; a highly technical and functional sunglass. The ultimate mountaineering glass built to protect against the elements. The style merges PrizmTM Technology, a best in class lens, with a best in class frame design engineered with side shields and a bridge blocker for eye protection and an integrated leash for stowage and convenience.

Power and strength unite in the new Oakley Unison Collection featuring rose gold hues across women’s sun and optical styles that signify the power of unity and strength.

5. Rayban

Fresh from the Ray-Ban archives, the legendary 1973 square frames a new take on individual style. The second edition of the I-shape legacy, this oversized square offers stand-out style in classic black or striped Havana and trendy transparent pastels with contrasting Havana temples, iconic green and brown polar or modern clear and light gradient lenses make sure the look is total.

Original Ray-Ban style is as good as it gets: the Olympian I Deluxe makes a winning come- back with nothing short of legend status. Accenting its dynamic wrapped design, the curved ear-to-ear brow bar and timeless tones profile the classic status of this podium star in classic gold and silver or modern black or brown metal with iconic green, blue or brown crystal lenses and polar options.

6. Prada

The latest Prada sunglasses collection for Women takes its cue from contemporary, sophisticated elegance. The stunning, acetate thick-rimmed frame features an irregular, geometric silhouette, with metal insert on the front providing a sophisticated touch. Adjustable nose pads for a comfortable fit. The colour palette includes classic Black, Tortoiseshell, Medium Tortoiseshell, sophisticated Ruby and White. Prada Lettering Logo.

Prada Duple Women A/W19 fashion show sunglasses reinterpret the theme of the “Architects” Collection with significantly thicker acetate frames, sharp edges and geometric shapes. The rounded shape features bold lines which clearly stop along the front and the temples. Colors available include the shades of the season, Military Green and Ruby, in addition to classic Black, Tortoiseshell and White. Prada Lettering Logo.

7. Burberry

Burberry Autumn/Winter eyewear for men and women is an evolution of the house codes set out by Riccardo Tisci, with contemporary details on timeless silhouettes. Made in Italy, the collection comprises oversized square-frame sunglasses and cat-eye optical frames adorned with the Thomas Burberry Monogram, plus navigator sunglasses and square optical frames printed with the refreshed Burberry logo.

One of our personal favourite! You can't never go wrong with Burberry's iconic house print, this chunky sunglasses is a must have and they're absolutely perfect for all your fall/winter fits. Imagine wearing this with a classic brown trench coat!

8. Coach

With a contemporary open wire construction, this classic round shape features a new gradient shading technique on metal. The new ombré painting technique creates beautiful, soft and summery chromatic combinations, and features a modern and clean Coach laser-engraved logo on shiny silver metal temples with metal fronts and adjustable nose pads.

This model is offered in shiny gold/silver/light purple with brown rose gradient lenses, shiny brown/silver/ light gold with smoke gradient lenses, shiny bronze/ silver/pink with blue to pink lenses, and shiny rose gold/shiny silver with smoke blue pink gradient lenses.

Coach’s iconic Signature C pattern is applied on this modern, metal frame featuring a fully rimmed cat-eye shape. The subtle décor is lasered off on the painted metal, for a surprising final effect. Available in shiny light gold with dark gray lenses, shiny light gold with brown solid lenses, and shiny rose gold with gray gradient lenses.
